Plumwood

Welcome to the entangled world of Plumwood. We are Plumwood Incorporated: a volunteer-run not-for-profit committed to furthering the legacy of ecofeminist philosopher and activist Val Plumwood, caring for her living museum and former residence, and supporting the wider flourishing of the environmental humanities. Learn about the unfolding story of Plumwood Mountain: an environmentally and culturally significant heritage-listed property and Voluntary Conservation Area situated on the lands and waters of the Walbunja peoples of the Yuin Nation, now returned to traditional custodians at the Batemans Bay Local Aboriginal Land Council. Learn more about the entangled Plumwoods and join us in our public programs as we towards decolonial and eco-cultural change.
